I’ve been on quite a journey lately. The grind doesn’t stop — it just evolves.
Over the past few months, life’s been busy, challenging, and rewarding all at once. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned lately, it’s that growth doesn’t always show up as some big breakthrough moment… sometimes it’s just about showing up, day after day, and doing the work.
Let’s start with something I’m proud of — The Gym!
I’ve been training consistently for the past three months now, and man… I can already see and feel the difference. My body’s changing, my energy’s up, and my mindset is sharper than ever. The discipline it takes to get up early or hit the weights after a long day is starting to spill over into every other area of my life. It’s not even about chasing the “perfect body” — it’s about becoming the best version of myself, physically and mentally.
Somewhere along the way, I also became an affiliate for Nether Athletic, an activewear brand that’s all about hustle, movement, and self-improvement — everything I stand for. So yeah, shameless plug here: Use Code: FOAM to get 10% off your next order. 😉
On the professional side, things are moving too. At work, I’ve been learning a new role — one that, as one of my supervisors put it, “will get you better exposure.” It’s another step forward, another chance to grow and develop. I’m treating it as a building block — because everything I learn now is going to pay off down the track. Whether it’s communication, leadership, or understanding how bigger systems work, I know this experience is helping shape the man I’m becoming.
And of course, on the home front — the real reason I’m grinding so hard — my kids are growing faster than I can blink. My daughter Amiyah just turned one, and my little man Hezekiah turns three this December. Crazy, right? Watching them grow is the biggest reminder that time waits for no man. Every smile, every “Dad!” moment, every late-night cuddle reminds me why I do what I do.
The dreams, the goals, the vision — they’re still the same. The plan? It’s had a few tweaks along the way, because life happens and we adjust. But the mission hasn’t changed. I’m still chasing growth, freedom, and purpose. Still working to build something meaningful for my family and myself. The grind continues.
Because it has to. Because that’s what men on a mission do.
